    Reds vs. Angels

OK...I'll start it. This Cardinal shellacking may never be over 'tho! Strasberg and Co. were awesome in this game.

nice stretch by Votto to save a throwing error on a tough dribble -- Frazier owes one -- no score going to bottom of 1st

error on me -- top of 2nd
The older I get - the better I was

and yes - I hate the Cardinals (Reds fan since 1958)

    I miss Raisor

No Hamilton, but Cueto looks sharp.

Votto draws a walk and the Angel color guy questions his approach.

Nice catch by the Angels left-fielder. I'd love to see the new fielding stats on that catch. It looked like the optimal path and it was about as far as he could lay out...not sure about the jump he got.

Is it just me or is Johnny's twist a little less pronounced than before? He doesn't seem to be turning as far as I recall.

He wants Votto to be more aggressive "sometimes." Ah, that vague "sometimes" when you can make any argument you want without ever backing it up with specific instances when he should have swung outside the zone instead of taking a walk.

Cueto is throwing really well. Is he gonna get the Opening Day call?
Rounding third and heading for home...

    Johnny looking quite sharp. 1 hit, 0 runs, 2 k's, 0 bb's after 3 full.

Risky, but a truly great play...best I've seen this spring. (but I don't even know the mans name)

If everybody's healthy...probably. There's an argument to be made for Latos & Homer too...but just a gut feeling tells me it'll be Johnny.

The rotation is being set up currently for him to be opening day starter. But that could change.

Mid-season form for Votto there. Looked really locked in. (9 pitch BB btw)

*sigh* Brain fart by Votto. Soft fly to short off of Frazier's knuckles...Votto 3/4's of the way to 2nd. DP
