This is meant to be a place for daily links from the beat reporters, and their daily notebooks, as well as anything else that may be Reds related.

I think this is a good idea to have everything in one easy to find place during Spring Training, but during the season when the board's more active, I don't think it's necessary to consolidate everything. I'd rather allow users to comment on a particular story if he or she sees fit. If anyone disagrees and would prefer everything in one place, please chime in.

With as diligent as Pepperjack is about posting stories I think having a dedicated thread makes sense. If a new thread was posted for every story then the entire front page would be filled up!

Thanks for the feedback. If this is the majority's preference, I don't have a problem with it - I just think it's going to be confusing to have numerous conversations about different topics going on in the same place.

Just state in big bold letters, in the first post that that thread is NOT for conversation. Start a separate thread to discuss. The thread is only for information only.
