The nationals are a wreck offensively.

Harang has a no no into the 7th in NY but the pitch count is getting high. Up over 110.

You gotta leave Harang in if he wants it. Veteran pitcher who has never had one and is not in the teams long terms plans.

He's really struggling with control. Last inning took 25 pitches. He won't get there like that. They won't leave him in for 150+. They have enough pitchers hurt. He may not fit long term but they need him NOW.

You don't do that if your "long term plans" include his next start.

Clearly it was a defective ball, but still entertaining to see someone knock the actual cover off the ball.

Bench clearing brawl between Pittsburgh and Milwaukee. Carlos Gomez is, not surprisingly, one of the instigators. Suspensions will definitely be forthcoming.

Yep, thought he homered and pimped it out of the box ending up with a triple, exploded when Cole said something to him at 3rd. Gonna get at least 5 games.

Weeks with an almost sucker punch on a Pirate.

Gomez is and continues to be a total over the when when it comes to his celebrations......he paints a target on himself but thinks it's cool.

Thought he was more instigated than instigator - it was Cole, the pitcher, who dropped an f-bomb after he got to 3rd. Gomez was hot-dogging but no worse than a lot of other guys have. He got hot after Cole cursed him and then someone from the bullpen got in his face and started the brawl. He should get suspended for the punches, of course.
