Smith allows 2nd and 3rd with no out in the bottom of the 13th in a 1-run game, but he works through it, and another dramatic win for the Bats.

Smith went 4.0IP, 3 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 7 K. A dominant and gutsy effort. Looking forward to seeing more of this guy.

Felix Perez went 3-6 in his season debut. He may be a 29 year old career minor leaguer, but when he is hot, he can really hit.

Well, strikeouts ARE fascist after all.

Winker with a 3 run bomb in the 1st inning.
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

Mike Dennhardt took a line drive to the pitching arm. He made a few warm up pitches but the coaches sent him back to the clubhouse and brought in a reliever. Hopefully he is ok.

Outside of Dennhardt, heck of a night for the starters on the farm.

Josh Smith could be very valuable for the Reds. Felix Perez deserves a chance with the big league club if he continues to play well in 2014.
