Disappearing Posts

Not quite sure if this is where I should post this, but here it goes:

I've been an official member on RedsZone for a little over a year now (I'd lurked on the site for many years). I understand that 50 posts is the requirement to be able to post in the ORG, and after years of sporadic posting, I finally reached that threshold.

I posted in the Game Thread earlier today. It was my 52nd post. I proceeded to post in a thread in the Arts & Entertainment section, and my post count suddenly dwindled to 47. I tried to post to a thread in the ORG, and it claimed that I did not have access.

Has this happened to anyone else? Or, more importantly, does anybody know why this is happening?

This is the proper place to post this. When you saw you had 52 posts, did the system actually display that you had 52 posts, or were you keeping tracking yourself (i.e. you had 48 and you made four more posts)? I can confirm that posts outside the baseball forums, including the game threads, do not count towards a user's post total, which is by design to prevent post padding to gain quick access to the ORG (obviously that's not applicable in your case). However, it would not account for a post count dwindling, and I can't think of a reason why that should (or could) happen.

The 52 posts I had referred to were displayed below my location, so I'm pretty sure it was an official count. The post count then showed 47 after I posted in an Arts & Entertainment thread. This whole thing may be moot, however; I signed out, signed back on, and was able to post in the ORG even though my post count was still showing below 50.
