Seems like I've seen shorter ones (like with infielders running away from the plate and catching a ball with their back to the play) mostly based on defensive inattention and brain farts. But as far as just a straight-up outfielder catch and throw, I don't know that I remember one shorter.

Homer Bailey is the one I'm worried about. Well, I say that loosely...its only been 2 games.
Mike allowed 4 runs in 6 innings--probably not horrible, but not good. I worry about Homer, too, but he's always been inconsistent. Truth is, when Cueto or Latos go out, you expect a good game. Cingrani, too, but with Leake and Homer you just never know, even though it's usually good. I notice the Cardinal pitchers who looked invincible last year did look that way early either. I guess we expect too much.

Color me guardedly optimistic after the opening nine games. I have seen enough positive trends to think the club is going to be alright after all.
Zero chance the Reds miss the playoffs!
