    Minor-League games of Saturday, April 12, 2014

The solution to the Reds' offensive woes appears to be in Louisville. Corky Miller is 3 for 3 with a pair of doubles. I'm pretty sure he can play shortstop.

Bats lead 12-4 in the 7th. Gotay also has two doubles. Felix Perez has homered.

If the ball gets lost in Corky's mustache, is it still a ground-rule double?

Rey Navarro's HR in the 10th wins it on the road for Pensacola, 2-1. It was the third straight game in which Navarro has homered. Drew Hayes gave up a tying HR in the 9th but pitched a scoreless 10th and got the W.

Bakersfield trailed 4-3 heading into the 9th. John Tolisano tied it with a HR. In the top of the 10th, the Blaze scored 7.

Edit: San Jose's 3 was not a sufficient answer.

Conversely, Drew Hayes has now given up a homer in three straight games.

Elizalde is off to a hot start. I'd take that 1.205 OPS for the whole season.
