Joe Hudson leads off the home half of the seventh with a walk and then is caught stealing. With two outs, Carlton Daal breaks up the no-hitter but is left stranded. Dayton trails 1-0 after seven.

Kemp hits a batter and gives up a pair of singles as Clinton scores a second run. Gelalich ends the threat by gunning down a runner at third.

    Dayton down 2-0.

The wheels come off for Stephenson. He loads them up on a single and walks numbers six and seven.
    A grand slam ends his night. Final line: 4.1IP 3H 5R 4ER 7BB 3K.

    Daniel Renken gets the call.

Pensacola threatens in the fifth but leaves two runners stranded. They have out-hit the Biscuits on the night 4-3 but trail 5-zip.

Louisville moves to 7-5 on the season and moves a game closer to first with a 7-3 victory over Indianapolis.
    Ryan Dennick gets the save with 2.2 solid innings of relief. 2.2IP 1H 0R 0ER 1BB 2K.

Ryan LaMarre, trying to dig his way out from a slow start, struck the big blow, a grand slam in the fourth. He also single in three trips. Hernan Irribarren struck a two-run double for insurance runs in the seventh after the Indians had crept within two.

Evan Mitchell is on for Dayton in the ninth. He retires the side in order, striking out one. Dayton, with a lone single through eight, need two to tie, three to win.

Ask and you shall receive. Free baseball in Dayton as the Dragons score twice in the bottom of the ninth. A Sammy Diaz single and a walk to Carlton Daal start things off. A sac bunt puts both in scoring position and Jeff Gelalich's single ties the game. On to the tenth tied up at 2. Yes!

Dayton wins in 11, 3-2. Gelalich reached on an error, stole second, moved to third on a single by Ervin and scored on a sac fly from Elizalde. Layne Somsen, still unscored on for the season, went the final 1.1.

What else would you expect from a guy who has only given up 5 ER in his professional career?
