I listen to the mlb radio app all the time and its irritating how far behind it is and how often it cuts out.

Grande is like "Sorry I'll miss 'Bowtie Tuesday' with you" ... even though Grande is not a normal part of the announcing crew (thank goodness).

Another terrible AB from BP. At least he's consistent.

Actually, that one looked like a decent swing I thought. Solid contact, just got under it. Hard to complain about a guy swinging hard at a strike.

Quick inning. Reds go down 1-2-3.
    2014 predictions:
99-63 WS champs (Cards take 2nd WC, Mil 3rd, Pit 4th, Chi 5th)
Bruce/Votto neck and neck MVP race (neither takes it)
    Bailey CYA winner
    Hamilton ROY & GG

I agree. I watch on my PS3 and listen to the Reds games through the audio feed. The PS3 feed tends to get choppy at certain times (last night was awful trying to watch the Dodgers game). However, the audio has been surprisingly good and is in sync with the Gamecast.

The Rats had a game like this seemingly every week last year and I kept waiting for the bullpen to implode. They pitched a very heavy load but it never happened.
Still, I agree 100% with your logic.

If it gets really dicey, I wouldn't be surprised if either team has to resort to using a position player. The Yankees tossed Dean Anna onto the mound last night and the last time he pitched was when he was 11.

Phillips these days is a pop-out to 2B or RF waiting to happen.

How many do they have though. I'd imagine quite a few got tossed in that scuffle earlier.

Cubs fans sure do get excited for routine flyballs.
