Shutout or no shutout, but Johnny Cueto is the pitching equivalent of Devin Mesoraco for the Reds right now.

If he keeps this up, Cy Young contention.

That was fun. I could watch a game like that every night. Beautiful pitching performance.

Some good laughs in the game thread tonight. Much needed after the kick in the nuts we all got last night.

Pena has a future as an announcer.

Guy is great, eh? I've never seen them do an interview with him where he didn't look like he was having the time of his life.

Very impressed overall with Pena. Great translator with Johnny and Jim Day.

If Cueto continues this through the year, then the talks between what starter gets another long term contract get real interesting.

Tell me about the failed CUE-TO chanting. I didn't watch the first half of the game.

Another great game by Cueto. Too bad he couldn't have got that shutout but I'll take this every time out.

Reds may have their best tandem of catchers they have had in a long time. I questioned why Pena was starting but he's not really much of a dropoff from Mesorocco. That was one pick up in the off season that was very good.
