RIP Lemmy

I just saw Lemmy this year. One of those scenes where it was almost out of body. I went to the Rainbow in West Hollywood and sat down for a cheeseburger. I was facing the door and my wife sitting across from me. She said my face just went blank/white and she asked me two or three times what was going on.

Finally I stammered, "There's Lemmy ****ing Kilmister."

I sat in stunned silence for a few minutes as he went to play a video poker machine at the bar. It was apparently the same machine he was playing when he died today. The Rainbow had apparently given it to him when he learned two days ago he had an aggressive form of cancer.

RIP Lemmy, you're a rock icon.

I watched a documentary on Lemmy and apparently he was a fixture at the Rainbow playing video poker, I regret not seeing Motörhead when they came here in September. RIP
