Eddie Murray over Palmiero at Dh,he was a switch hitter and he didn't take steroids and didn't cause Ryne Sandberg to retire early.
I was in the ORG once, best 6 months of my life.

How did Palmiero cause Sandberg to retire early? Sandberg played until 1994, retired, and came back for two more years. Palmiero was traded in 1988. Now--looking online there was a rumor that Dave Martinez and Rafael Palmiero were with Sandberg's wife, and that led to the trades of both players... but... it seems online as a rumor.

As far as Murray over Palmiero--honestly, to me it could go either way. Both men are 500HR/3000 hit guys..,, which is a select club of Hank Aaron, Willie Mays, Eddie Murray, and Rafael Palmiero....sooo..

It's a coin flip. Perhaps Murray plays against left handers and Palmiero plays against righthanders!
