    Apple content only?

    Can someone verify this for me? I have tried to hook up both my Iphone4 and my Ipod to my big screen tv over the last few days. I was of the belief that I would be able to watch videos like off of Youtube or maybe some MLB video highlights from games. I can get audio to everything with no issue. I even get audio to Youtube. However the only video I get is anything I have purchased from Apple. Can you only get Apple video content? I don't believe I have anything hooked up wrong as I am normally pretty good at that stuff.

    How are you hooking it up? The Iphone should have airplay and if you have an apple TV you should be able to use that to have it play on your TV. I have the direct tv app on my phone and when I tried to use airplay it had some trouble at first by only playing sound, but then eventually played. I also have a macbook air that also has air play and I streamed the Reds game from my computer to the Apple Tv as well
