I saw the idea thrown out there that Ambrose wins the brutal ladder match at MITB, leaving his blood, sweat, and tears in the ring to finally accomplish the dream of becoming WWE Champion...only for Reigns to cash in the Money in the Bank briefcase he won earlier in the night on his "brother".
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

That would be a fascinating turn of events.

Could WWE stand not having the MITB briefcase around for months as a looming plot device?

I love the idea of an intstant-cash and heel turn on Ambrose in the same night, but I'd also pair it with Reigns joining Rollins in "The Authority" -- mostly because it sets up a future face-turn for Rollins (as the deposed "favorite son" of HHH/Steph) and keeps the Ambrose v. The Authority storyline going, which is the best thing on WWE TV not named Owens currently.

After Rollins' slow burn with the briefcase, it makes sense to have the new winner cash-in quickly. For instance, Reigns should be impatient after coming so close at WrestleMania.

I know Kane Cashed in on Rey later in the night. Could you book the "PPV" to make Reigns the shortest briefcase cash in as well?
