You know, Cozart is as irreplaceable player as we have on the team.

You want Santiago playing full time?

Cozart isn't a great hitter, we all get that, but he's an excellent glove man.

His close to average in WAR in the majors this season among SS. And I expect his hitting will improve enough to bring him squarely within that average group.

bench bat and bullpen arms, that all I'm looking for if I'm the Reds brass.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Maybe, but at least it took significant injuries to Votto and BP for it to get to this point, you wanted to blow it up in May.

I think we pick 10th next year at this point. So there's that.

Time to get younger. The hauls we could get from trading some pitching would be huge and if we could trade some high salary guys to free up some money we could actually sign some international talent that could be cheaper and possibly better than free agents.
