Not that it matters a great deal, but why in the world is Phillips batting third? Dude is not a good hitter

I've been lamenting this all year.

    Good AB by Bruce.

    I think he's back.

Phillips is OPSing .791 since May 1st. Not great, but not terrible either. Still would rather see him flip-flopped in the order with Frazier who really looks like he's improved his game this year.

From 1979-1981, went 245-185, won a division title and finished with the best record in baseball... with Dave Concepcion as their #3 hitter.

That story about the lacrosse team and nicknames may be the most uninteresting story ever told on a Reds broadcast.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Latos is so pisty...I love it on a starting pitcher. For once the Reds didn't succumb to the star player and went away from what HE wanted.

When Kelsh started announcing full time, during spring training, he tried telling stories to fill time. They made that lacrosse story sound like The Bourne Identity. He has since stopped trying.
