Ump is terrible today. Very inconsistent.

Homer K's Howard to end the frame. Like to see the Reds start getting to this Buchanan fella who ain't very good.

Nice pitch to strike out Howard.

    Phils up 1-0. Mid 3rd.

How long before Hamilton's OBP becomes a major concern?

Glad to see some minor league success. Congrats Bakersfield.
there's nothing like bowling a 300 game! 13 now and retired.

Me either, but the fact that the Phillies are as messed up fundamentally as the Reds gives me a little bit of hope.

To be fair they executed a perfect hit and run to get runners on the corners. Our guys did nothing wrong on that play. A tip of the hat to the Phils.

I think Bruce is ON. Be nice for him to keep this going until the All-Star break.
Sabermetrics is this: A batter's goal is to extend the inning. Extend enough innings and you're going to score runs. Extend more innings than your opponent and you're going to score more runs than him.

Forget the rain. It's never an official game until the Reds piss away a run between third base and home plate. - Bluegrass Redleg

Nice solid single for Phillips but Bruce crushed one to center for out 1

Homer keeps getting into mild trouble but keeps getting out of it....either he keeps that going and Reds hit a 2-3 run HR or one of them open up on him for a 4-0 deficit
