I think Price just gave Cingrani the final test, and he failed. He's not staying in the rotation.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

should of been pulled after 2nd walk with 2 outs. Cingrani had his chance...2 months in the rotation. Bye Bye!
Latos should of started tonight. Bad management!

If Cingrani is wearing out at 90 pitches he should not be in the rotation right now

That was sad, Cingrani looked like he was about to cry. It's probably not, but that could end up being the last game he starts in his career.

Yes, agree. Cingarani of last year would put those guys away. He couldn't now.

This would be a very bad loss. Not the top lineup used by Dodgers, Haren pitching rather than the top guys.

    Cingrani obviously had nothing left.

So, what's better for Cingrani? Bullpen or AAA to work on starting? What say you?

Yeah if he is involved in a freak accident that causes him to lose his left arm at some point. Jeff Francis still gets the occasional start. Cingrani will get plenty of chances. I'm amazed how many people seem shocked that a young SP has hit a rough patch.

I think Cingrani has a serious shoulder issue and is trying to hide it. He had no consistent release point at all tonight.

That's probably the thinking, give Tony the full shot.

But there's a ball game to win, this isn't tryout camp.

Hopefully the media guys can serve up another fat softball to Price tonite.
