Anyone who seriously believes this team has a shot at the playoffs needs immediate psychiatric therapy.

I was optimistic thinking the Reds would win 83. I think now they will be lucky to get to .500.

I still think they'll turn this around if there are no more major injuries but they may be digging too deep a hole to climb out of. Votto is just back, Bruce still isn't hitting and Mes is getting a steady diet of curves. By the time they all get going the Reds may be ten+ games down.

Even if they are, I'm afraid Walt is going to stay the course, blaming injuries and not doing anything to address obvious holes.

He's starting to turn it around. In 25's ab's this month he's at .280/.367/.520/.887. 4 walks the past 4 games too.

Roy, you got to eat dinner at the Spring House and were home in time to watch the NBA Finals while (using some conjecture here) enjoying an adult beverage or three at non-stadium prices. Meanwhile you were spared watching the Reds get like two hits in seven innings with a wet butt. I'd say you're the luckiest man on earth.

Should I schedule my appointment immediately, or do I have time to finish my diet coke? And I'm guessing I'll need shock treatments too as I'm still of the opinion we'll take the division too.
    2014 predictions:
99-63 WS champs (Cards take 2nd WC, Mil 3rd, Pit 4th, Chi 5th)
Bruce/Votto neck and neck MVP race (neither takes it)
    Bailey CYA winner
    Hamilton ROY & GG

Yes we did. Dad had an extra beer and let my daughter drive home. Funny thing, the table we sat next to also had Reds tickets and bailed on the game.

And tonight, we used our LaRosa's free pizza tickets and fed wife and daughters. And my wife is meeting friends at McDonalds tomorrow AM and will use the BOGO breakfast sandwich coupons on the tickets.

By god, I'm going to extract my $$$ out of those tickets yet.
