Finally healthy. Now may good things happen. And with this rotation, they should.

Next three days, it is Latos, Leake, and Cueto. Win 2 of those and the Reds have won 5 of 6...with Simon and Bailey coming back around.

The last few years the "weak" links in the rotation have been Leake and Arroyo. Simon has taken Arroyo's spot and the smell test says Leake has incrementally improved. This could be fun. The stronger the "weak" links are...the more of a chance you have of going on a tear.

I survived starting this thread with the miscues. We won. I'm done.

he sure has been a slouch recently. Can't blame Price for that though and its not like he has any other options.

You win the award for most awesomely obscure film reference. Legit, sir.
Seemed appropriate with the commentary and the Reds hanging on to win!

I've forgotten what we are supposed to do after three days of sustained success...do we walk ceaselessly into the ocean?

You know, in Sam's defense, I still can't believe the luck of that stupid little nubber by Lucroy that should have ended the inning and kept the game at 5-3.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Hit by pitch. Under the new rules, this entitles him to first base. Base ball has gone soft.

Mr. Lucroy hits a line drive to second, which Phillips converts into a double play.

I demand this becomes your regular thing.

Just glad Cozart, Santiago, and Hamilton got it done in the 9th.
I don't think there's a manager in the league that'll bring in their closer in the 7th inning

If Price knew what was going to happen in advance, he might do it.

But since he doesn't, and didn't know, for example, that Lucroy would get a fluky infield hit, he should be excused for leaving LeCure in the 7th inning.

LeCure has been good this year, and has been able to handle lefties.

I've not heard of any closer being brought in during the 7th inning this year. That might happen in Sept
