there's nothing like bowling a 300 game! 13 now and retired.

He's literally missing by inches on a lot of these pitches.
This is the ol Left Hander rounding third and heading for home.

You know what's a real sickness? I can even hear Thom's voice on this game without him here. "And Cueto walks in the go-ahead run. Wow."

    pls kill me
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Just got home and turned on the TV to see Cueto struggling mightily with nearly 80 pitches. What on earth is going on?

    Regression ain't pretty.

OAN: I was wrong. The Pirates look pretty stacked.

He's not himself. That, and it seems like he's being squeezed a bit.

Cueto isn't regressing. He's off by a hair, and then probably got a bit tired toward the end of the inning. This might not be the best game for him but it isn't going to get out of control either.
Sabermetrics is this: A batter's goal is to extend the inning. Extend enough innings and you're going to score runs. Extend more innings than your opponent and you're going to score more runs than him.

Forget the rain. It's never an official game until the Reds piss away a run between third base and home plate. - Bluegrass Redleg

Hamilton is excellent in center. Can't say enough about what his defense has meant to this club.
