Two on for the Reds. Good at bat by Mes who walked on a full count.

Volquez is grounders, Ks, and walks. Have to wait him out and avoid the DP.

So much better watching Volquez do this in a different uniform.

V goes in the dirt, so the Reds now second and third, no outs. Schumaker, Cozart, pitcher.

Schu with a line shot for a sacrifice fly. 1-0.

Schumaker hit that one on the screws but right to Polanco in right field. Still good for a sac fly.

    1-0 Redlegs.

Based on the early returns in 2008, I really thought he would be what Johnny Cuteo is now.

Now with two outs Simon up, should play for the wild pitch.

    But he pops up. 1-0.

Sometimes I wonder if Cozart wouldn't be better suited as a golfer, because I swear his swing is more appropriate for that than baseball.

You knew Cozart would take the first pitch FB right down the middle.

I don't think Cozart is a better hitter than any of the pitchers in the starting rotation and Cingrani.

Guy on 3rd....1 out....pitcher up next....and the pitcher doesn't even hint at pitching around you. He's the anti-Hamilton, I tell ya.
