I don't think he's a hitter, period. Intelligence doesn't have much to do with it.

I always had high hopes for him but he could test the most patient person on the planet. I'm guessing even Sir Charles got burned out on him.

    I friggin hate Josh Harrison.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

I thought it had to be a break to not face Neil Walker. Apparently it is just any Pirates 2nd basemen.

Is some moron in the stands chanting "Cueto"?

I like the attempt to sort out umpiring mistakes with the replay system, but I hate the manager abuse of it with this coming out to chat while waiting on the bench coaches to review the replay before deciding to challenge.
    2014 predictions:
99-63 WS champs (Cards take 2nd WC, Mil 3rd, Pit 4th, Chi 5th)
Bruce/Votto neck and neck MVP race (neither takes it)
    Bailey CYA winner
    Hamilton ROY & GG

I think Hamilton is a future super star. Not just as a stealer, but when he fills out a little, he will become a Lou Brock. I'm totally serious.

I'm still waiting for a look at this Polanco guy.

I agree with you. Replay wasn't supposed to delay the game substantially, but this exploitation of the system by the managers is causing quite a bit of delay.

Frazier singles with one out in the third, 1-0 Reds. Votto coming up.
