33 pitches. Get him out of there before he hurts himself.

Yet several guys playing WELL above. The bullpen was a gas can. With even mild skepticism, that should have been obvious.

You can't judge a Reliever by ERA or W/L record, though both of those are very bad by Hoover. You judge them by what percentage of their games do they come in and get the job done, whatever that job may be. For Hoover, he had a stretch of ten games in a row where he did it nine times. That shows that he's capable of giving good "stretches" of pitching this season. Ondrusek, on the other hand...

Chapman with 33 pitches being replaced. Probably not available tomorrow. Keeps getting better and better
there's nothing like bowling a 300 game! 13 now and retired.

I don't care if they scored 8 runs the first 8 batters and every other dude made an out on one pitch.

This has nothing to do with the offense.

You watched the game right? You saw the bottom of the barrel, completely pathetic, unfathomably bad pitching by Reds, and you're saying the offense is the problem because they didn't score more than 8 runs?
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Chapman needs a day off or two.
