Lance Lynn is melting down. Threw a ball behind Grienke who was trying to lay a bunt down.

I love watching the Cardinals lose.

Also a match between 2 of the early teams that didn't change their names a half dozen times over the years.

Of course the Giants changed their whole city so there is that...

Very nice....but an A- because of an improper using of a "g" in place of a "ck"

The only way the Reds win this game is if Frank hits 4 homers.

Once more the Rhinelanders assay a lengthy road trip. After a successful journey to Chicago, the Cincinnati club passed a joyous (and well lubricated) eve aboard their private train headed east through the night to Gotham. And the wheel of Fortuna continued to smile on the Vermillion Hose, as the Red Stockings dispatched Mathewson and Rusie on consecutive afternoons at the Polo Grounds. Today the Cincinnati club sends Mr. Simon to the mound to confront the lineup of the World's Champions. Wily McGraw sends Mr. Cain to the mound.

Billy goes to a full count, making Cain throw pitches early.
