I was referring to Dusty's runner's clog bases comment -- I was saying this Votto is a 2 hole hitter IMO
The older I get - the better I was

and yes - I hate the Cardinals (Reds fan since 1958)

    I miss Raisor

Why did Braun leave the game, I hadn't heard?

I know you were. But at some point, you do have to consider speed. You don't need a burner but, ideally, somebody who gets on base and has 2-base speed.

    New shipment came in.

Cover story is "due to lower-back spasms" though.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Marlins got 3 in the top of the 6th - it's 5-4 Cards in the bottom of the 7th - since the Phils aren't going to help the Reds with the Pirates, maybe Miami will step up.

If you're scouting Chris Welsh's team, just sit on curve with two strikes?
Rounding third and heading for home...

Garza is only at 33 pitches with 2 outs in the 4th. No bueno.
