5 strong innings from Homer so far, but he's being outdone.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

    Rats

Bruce hit that hard enough that it damaged Reynolds' glove - but he still holds on to it for the double play

That kind of game thus far.

McGhee makes up for yesterday and drives in the tying run off of Rosenthal. Unless Rosenthal gets it together, it's hard to see the Cards going far this season.

Molina dropped the ball on a play at the plate that would have been the game winner for the Cards.

Marlins have taken a 6-5 lead on the Cardinals in the 9th.

Then Holliday throws the ball WAY high on the next play at the plate that would have beat the runner. Cards down going to the bottom of the 9th

Funny. Around here anyone can close and it doesn't matter anyway since the ninth inning is just like any other inning.

Nice play by the Reds, but a replay coming.

Anybody remember the last time Jay got on base? Back in the Frisco series?
