Are there any Redszone amateur meteorologists out there who can tell us why the sky looked this way, and it usually never does?

The Sox traded Bullfrog the only player they've got for Shottenhoffen. Four-eyes Shottenhoffen a utility infielder. They've got a whole team of utility infielders.

Thom was creeping me out with his weather reports and description of the skies.

Thom talked about how the sky looked last evening. I don't think I have ever seen a sky that looked quite that way either.

at ~9:10 my wife and I went outside. instead of being dark the sky was a light orange color. it was as if it was daytime but we were looking through a light orange filter. in 10-15 minutes it was gone and it was night. very weird but very cool.

He was signaling to this brothers in the sky that the invasion was on.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

How about a professional? It was just the low angle of the sun timed just right with the unusually shaped clouds (remnants of mammatus). Definitely took everything falling into place at just the right time but it's not unheard of.
Sabermetrics can be boiled down to this simple truism: A batter's goal is to extend the inning. Extend enough innings and you're going to score runs. Extend more innings than your opponent and you're going to score more runs than him.

So you're a pro meteorologist huh? That means that there's only a 40% chance that what you said is true.

    Wow, that's gorgeous.

Also as good a chance as any for me to post my favorite shot from the Beyonce/Jay-Z show a week and a half ago. It POURED down rain right before the concert, then I looked up and bam:

edit: I can't embed because instagram's a jerk, but this link might work.
