Phillips hurt- Torn thumb ligament, out ~6 Weeks

Left wrist rolled on a diving play. Hopefully just a sprain.

Left hammy. He was clutching it after the first swing of his last AB.

There's unfortunately so many small bones in the wrist that break easily. I'm fearful that he's not going to get out of this without a break of some kind. He was in some kind of pain.

Billy Hamilton left the game with tight left hamstring, Phillips left with sprained left thumb. X-rays negative on Phillips. #Reds

They're going to be forced to make some sort of roster move now, right? Hamilton out for a day, maybe two at least I would think. Phillips maybe more.

Too bad Walt was in bed at 6:45 tonight, he's going to have a lot to deal with in the morning.

This is nonsense, the whole sleepy-Walter thing. Was he asleep when he picked up Simon for nothing? Was he sleeping when he sold a pile of burning trash for Mat Latos? How about the Chapman signing? Was he drinking Nyquil before that?

People who want to criticize Walt for not improving the team are due for a nap themselves if you ask me. Very cranky.

why? everyone is looking for a lineup with ludwick (lf), heisey (cf), bruce (rf), pena (1b), schumaker (2b), cozart (ss), frazier (3b), rocco (c) and a bench with santiago and barnhardt (and some injured guys )

fun aside, I do think heīll do something and if pena wouldnīt have arm problems barnhardt would be down again and he would call soto (or someone else) up... letīs see what happens tomorrow

Maybe Walt is busy living a double-life as a meth dealer and can't currently give the Reds his full attention.

Sorry, I just started watching Breaking Bad a few weeks ago. Kind of addicting.

I'm down for a roster move to see what Rey Navarro can do. very good fielding MI who could be a candidate to be a versatile bat off the bench.

Hope we dodged a bullet on that one. Sometimes it's hard to get too excited about good medical reports from the Reds.

    Re: Phillips hurt

Is anyone else scared that the barely hitting Brandon Phillips decides to play hurt again for the rest of the season and becomes a shell of the guy he was earlier in the season, which this season would be downright brutal, but would still somehow find a way to hit 4th in the lineup?
