I did a search to find the "Winker" thread, but there is none. Does anyone know what the deal is with Winker? Injured? Death in the family? I keep looking for him in the Pensacola lineup every day. I have seen other people ask this same question the past ten days, and no one seems to reply. I hope it's not a concussion issue again. This thread doesn't just have to be about Winkers health. I would like to see a continuous discussion of his progress.

I've seen it was a hand injury, but if it's actually something broke, come on already with the injuries this year.

Can you share how long he might be out? I can understand the release issue as it would mean HIPPA could be getting violated somewhere.

I would if I knew, but I honestly wasn't told that. But I wouldn't count on him playing in the next few weeks at least.
Well that is not good. Hopefully not a hamate bone issue.
Worst case is torn ligaments in the wrist that require surgery to correct. That will halt his power for a while.
