Maybe it was. Do you know otherwise?
...the 2-2 to Woodsen and here it comes...and it is swung on and missed! And Tom Browning has pitched a perfect game! Twenty-seven outs in a row, and he is being mobbed by his teammates, just to the thirdbase side of the mound.

Ah yes, because all quad injuries are cut out of the same mold.

Can the Reds get their money back through insurance yet?

Think about how cheap Votto would have been once he reached FA if the Reds had not signed him....*sigh*

    Screw this.

I'm tired of this crap being thrown around lately. People are acting like Votto will never play again and the Reds are ruined financially now because of his contract. It's absolutely just not true. The Reds will increase their payroll through an upcoming TV deal and won't be handicapped by Votto's contract. My other point is it's an injury. Votto didn't have a history of this injury that would have made the Red reluctant to sign Votto. Injuries suck and injuries will happen. Everyone was praising the deal but now it's a gigantic failure? Even a playing-through-injury Votto posted a top-10 OBP and was useful for offense. It's a colossal bummer that Votto's not playing but can we stop pretending like he's done as a player?

    This is not true.

When it went down I remember thinking "ohhhhh boy, this may end badly." I am sure redszoners expressed the same feelings.

Think how great it would be if Reds fans realized that:

    • That life and baseball is hard
    • That big league means big dollars
    • Votto is not dead
    • That the money is not gone

Reds fans wonder why they never get "respect", "notice" and "kudos" from the coastal news outlets

Maybe because they cry all the time?

I get reds fans complain about Votto's injuries a lot, but what fanbase would not be upset about their superstar with a huge contract barely playing?

Look up a Reds fan Votto injury optimist and one will find this:
