Did they take a Magical Mystery Tour right after the AS break and not figure out how to come down from the brown acid?

I just don't get this. They are very bad men.

And almost every single one of them has had a nightmarish game in the field.

Really pathetic offensive display since the break.

To be fair to Hamilton, his defense never slips and has actually had at least 3 or 4 hard hit balls that he was robbed on and got a bit unlucky. The play by Rendon on the bunt the other day was another than will go the other way more often than not.

Nobody on the offensive side outside him, Santiago or Heisey has looked like they want to be out there.

When the other option than Schumaker is Negron, I'm really not certain we'd be getting any better offense at this point.

Skip has proven range less in CF, RF and now 2B....

When was the last lineup that had Skip, Cozart, Meso and Bruce and they won?

Completely offensive when Ramon Santiago has been your best offensive player for the last two weeks. But everyone is simply trying too hard. You get two of your better hitters out, then you get a couple of guys in a slump then everyone starts to press to make something happens and it quickly spirals downhill.

On vacation, so haven't followed the board much, but for anyone born 1980 or after, if you ever wondered what the offensive futility of the 1982-1984 reds teams looked like, well, since the ASB, now you know.
Well, that's what those words mean. He was here. If they don't keep him, he will have been lost/subtracted. I headed out the door today with two shoes on my feet. If I don't return with them, I have lost them. If I do return with them, I haven't added them. ---M2

I don't know about the rest of my post 1980 brethren, but I could have done without witnessing this first hand.

Now playing the role of '82-'84 Mario Soto: Johnny Cueto.

    Frightenly similar.

Really, I think it's time for a little shakeup. If someone like Cozart has options send them down to Louisville. Or, if not, cut someone such as Heisey,Ludwick etc....Plenty to choose from here.

Does that mean the Reds will win their next World Series 2 years after Cueto retires? I might be able to live with that.

I fully agree with you. However Walt seems to operate with obtuse patience lacking in any clear direction from what I can see.

3 guys in AAA are hitting and could be given a shot if you don't want to make or cannot make trades.

Bob C worried about perception and not wanting to act like they are quitting, but the team suffers for it when it clearly is not just going to get better.

They might just not do anything and think in August things will turn around. Scary and stupid sounding but no different than most of 2011 and last year, when clearly help was needed
    to get better.
