    This is a perfect example. Heisey should be on 3B. But by trying to make something happen on the bases, the Reds cost themselves the value of letting things happen.
    Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

    I agree, but it was close. It wasn't like he was thrown out easily.

    If all it takes to get you is a reasonably on target throw, it's a risk you should not have taken, especially with none out.

    Sitting in CF seats....no way in this world does Heisey go 1st to 3rd on Santiago's hit....too close to CF playing shallow.

    I wish Trumbo wouldn't have bobbled Heisey's hit.
