I was wondering why he left the game when I tuned in to MLB in game highlights...... that nice Cardinal luck showed up. Pesky devil's helper pricked Garza on the side in between innings.

I'm not sure how much Phillips is really going to help offensively coming off a broken thumb. The key to the Reds making a run will be what shape Votto is in if he returns.

Mesoracco was actually ok. Hamilton had what I consider another period of adjustment. Frazier was seriously slumping.

And at what point does someone stick a giant fork in Ludwick?

What's really really sad is that Ludwick has still been better than Bruce. That should tell you all you need to know about the Reds' chances for a postseason berth.

When they don't even use Ludwick as a DH, something's up.

Re: It is Moving Time- 2014 edition- part 1

Now that we have seen that Skip and Jack are not of much help, even on the bench IMO...... Price maybe can start keeping more of a set lineup.... with Santiago and Negron platooning at 2B and keeping Ludwick in LF on a more regular basis. He is still a better every day option than Heisey. You are limited to Pena and Lutz at 1B, because I do not want to see Todd there anymore. That has not worked.
Try a more set lineup now except for the platoon at 2B and 1B.

I think Jack should be replaced by either Perez or Navarro. I mean if they really believe they have a chance then start cutting bait with players who contribute nothing like Jack. If you do not have any faith in Lutz then send him down and bring up someone else. Put Parra on the DL.

I want to believe but this FO likes to handcuff itself and the team sometimes.
