I'm not saying Lutz is any kind of long term solution to the problem, but I don't understand why he wasn't given a fair chance to fill in at 1B.

If the Schu fits, play him.
A summer watching a bad Reds' team, is still a pretty good summer.

    One size fits none.

I'd rather have Negron's range at 2nd and Skip at 3rd....but prefer everything stay the same but Lutz in for Pena

9-3 and counting. I could watch the Cardinals lose all day every day.

Kelch and Brantley on the TV call tonight, how lucky we are.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

leadoff double for Yelich. Could be another one of those nights for Fredo.

sac bunt and a Stanton sac fly makes it 1-0 Miami.

With Simon pitching losing 2/3 to the Marlins is a good chance. That is pretty bad

Two more hits for Miami with 2 outs.

I'd be close to calling up Scott Diamond and putting Simon back in the bullpen if I'm in the front office.

Even that last out was hit extremely hard. It's safe to say that Jack Armstrong, er, Alfredo Simon, has reverted back to his usual self.

This team is just no good. Just ran into the worst defense in baseball and put together a few games with some runs. That's it

Remove Brad Penny from ABP. There's been a sighting.
