He's done some little things better than Dusty in my opinion. He's not been afraid to shake things up lineup wise. Hasn't always worked out but I like that he's willing to try new things to get something going. He hasn't been afraid to burn his backup C as a PH. Outside of those things he seems to do a lot the same as Dusty with the exception of the aggressive baserunning which I think we all agree has been a negative.
Maybe the best thing Price has done has been that he has had this team bounce back after several tough losses and every time I have thought they were dead for the season they've gone on a little run to make you think otherwise. Again though bouncing back after brutal losses was a staple of Dusty's teams here.
The biggest hope I have with Price though is that he is new to this and I think he can and likely will get better about the way he handles some in game decisions. Dusty had success with a lot that he did but he was set in those ways and was never going to adjust the things he didn't do well. One of the reasons I was ready for a change.
