Actually I think I was looking at the August part of the schedule. It's been a looooong season.

It's not everyday you see one team have 9-0 advantage over its opponent when doing side by side comparisons by position. Today might be one of those days.

Jay Bruce is somehow better than Oscar Taveras.

    That is it, though.

Bruce is the worst starting RF in baseball according to several measures. Has been for several months now. I'll take Taveras in today's head to head.

Mes has had a great season, but Yadier Molina is one of the best in the game. It'd be like comparing Adams and Votto if he were playing.

The Frazier-Carpenter comparison was the only one I thought could go the Reds way.

Can't find out what the call-ups can do if they don't play. Or does Price still think the Reds are in the chase?

The Reds know what the call ups can do. They have had these guys in their system for one or more years.

They were called up for occasional spot duty and to get a taste of the big leagues.

If there isn't a game here tonight, a lot of people will be disappointed.
