The only time ESPN takes to talk about the Reds is to talk about Votto's contract.

How many times has that happened this year. Wild pitch--runner safe at first.

Mesoraco with his 24th home run of the year. The last Reds catcher to hit more than 24 homers in a season was Johnny Bench, with 31 HR's in 1977.

    (Bench also hit 24 HR's in 1980.)

    Bruuuuuuuuuuce!
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Mentally, a nice final week for Bruce wouldn't be a bad thing.

Be nice for those three to heat up and end the season looking forward to 2015.

    And ruining the Pirate chances.

This might be our "thanks for watching all these crappy games the past 3 months" gift from the Reds

I really miss Jon Miller and Joe Morgan on ESPN. Consummate professionals. (Though I'm glad Joe is now part of the Reds organization.)

Shulman, Kruk, and Schilling are Grade A jerks.
