Corcino melting down here in the 5th.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

JJ Hoover leads the Reds on P/PA while batting this season followed by Ondrusek, Jeff Francis, Hannahan, and Bernadina.

Hannahan with another hit but still contained as it was just another single.

Brantley was a damn smart and successful pitcher and he knows what he's talking about....but he's not giving Gomez enough credit. He's not just chopped liver up there that swings at everything....

Earlier in the game Thom and Cowboy were speaking of Rickie Weeks and as Thom has done every appearance this year spoke of how well he's handled his demotion and then they spoke how his ankle injury hurt his range which was not good in the first place.

Fast forward to the 7th and Weeks make a tremendously rangy play way over on the SS side to throw out Frazier by plenty. Not sure how many get to that ball and not many would be able to finish the throw.

The Reds are Jack Hannahan from being no-hit through seven. The second half of the season in a nutshell.

    Also fortunate it's not 10-0
