It's no more ridiculous than anyone supporting Price or Dusty as competent Managers....Dusty for the same reason that he didn't believe in OBP, and Price for his belief that it's OK to give away outs.

Marty has never gotten it, doesn't presently, and never will.
He won't be in the booth too much longer, and, honestly...how many of us actually listen to the radio?
I'll sometimes listen to the radio broadcast audio while watching the game on MLB tv. Marty is making that unbearable, though. Most of the time I enjoy the beauty that is the "ballpark sound" feature.
