Darvish has sprain of UCL in elbow. TJ is a possibility. To have more consultation

Darvish statement: "I will be disappointed if I have to miss the season but want to look at all options, including getting a second opinion"

“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Texas sold their injury souls for those two WS appearances, they have more injuries than a football team.

Jeff Passan has a book on Tommy John surgery coming out next year, says he has to rewrite a chapter now:

    Jeff Passan @JeffPassan
I've been immersed in the world of the elbow for three years now, and I'm not sure there's a bigger gut punch than Yu Darvish's torn UCL.

    Jeff Passan @JeffPassan
Over last 18 months, Yu Darvish, Matt Harvey, Jose Fernandez and Masahiro Tanaka have suffered UCL injuries. This isn't going away, either.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Not saying I like this idea, but wonder what they'd give up for Cueto.

Little known fact. Darvish is Aziz's cousin.

Why would you want to trade Cueto now?

Terrible for Darvish. He's been a fun guy to watch. As good as there is when he's on top of his game.

I'm not necessarily in favor of the idea, but they either trade Cueto now or they trade him in July. There's no way they can afford him.

Or they try to win and just let him walk. I'm in favor of that option personally, unless of course it becomes evident by July that they aren't going to win. No way I trade him now though.

I don't think Texas would consider it; they were probably going to struggle to reach .500 even with Darvish.

You've already given up on the 2015 season? In March?

Will MLB teams ever transition back to the Maddox, Glavine type of pitcher?

It's unbelievable what Nolan Ryan did for 27 seasons.
