If I was making up the lineup tonight (with BP not in lineup):
Boesch LF
Votto 1B
Frazier 3B
Bruce RF
Schumacher 2B
Cozart SS
Barnhart C
Leake P
Hamilton CF
Note:
It is very hard to make a decent lineup with the players on this team

If the regulars were all available, including Rocco and Phillips, absolutely not. I wouldn't have Hamilton leading off either.
With Rocco and Phillips out of the lineup I don't mind Cozart there.
I'd rather Bruce hit there, but I can live with it.
And I'll take my baseball iq over your's any day of the week. I like fooling around but I'm wicked smart. Ask my mom.
Keep in mind, Price's original lineup for this game was released BEFORE Phillips was ruled out. And he still had Cozart batting second.
So, with BP, here's how the lineup should have looked:
1. Hamilton
2. Votto
3. Frazier
4. Bruce
5. Phillips
6. Byrd
7. Barnhart
8. Cozart (or you could flip Barnhart/Cozart)
Batting a player like Cozart in the two hole is mindless. And if he has a good night tonight, it doesn't make it a wise move. You could drive home drunk and not hurt anyone and not get a DUI, but that doesn't make it a good decision just because it happened to work out well.
With BP out, I'd bat Byrd second (actually I'd rather have Boesch in there) and Schumaker 6th. Not ideal, but better than batting Cozart in the two hole.
There aren't many good lineup options currently. Not gonna skewer Price over this one.
And although it won't hold up over the entire season, Cozart currently has a .826 ops.
The guy you want to put there is rocking a .441 one.
I have a feeling George Grande will be on the call tonight.
That NFL Draft is beginning in about an hour though!
Randy Gregory is going to spark one up right on stage after getting drafted. It's going to be good entertainment.

Cozart, for the record, is ops-ing over 800 for April.
Ride him higher in the lineup while he's hot, move him back down when he's not
OK, no George Grande. The night is off to a good start.
I love that the Cardinals traded away a good young starting pitcher like Shelby Miller for one of the most-overrated players in all of baseball: Jason Heyward.
damn, what a play
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
