I said he was a year away during his last start. NebraskaRed and The Sunshine Pumpers (he should start a band with that name), with a guest appearance by Turntable Tom Servo tried to run me out of town on a rail.

Going into this game, Bruce's flyball rate was about 45%. Add two more to it from this game.
I don't consider those bad luck either.
To me bad luck is when your line drives get snagged. Or the shift happens, etc.

Disco always looks like he's about to murder the ball. He doesn't, of course, but he has the look down.

Well, that's the point I've been trying to make in the Bruce thread. A high strikeout rate. A high fly ball rate. Lot of outs.
Unless the fly balls are hit with real authority and leave the stadium or hit the wall. Or unless they are line drives.

Need to get another inning out of Disco. Bullpen has thrown a lot lately.
If Disco puts up another scoreless inning, it's still considered a quality start I guess.
Disco is doing just fine.
