He was clearly out. And that was clearly an error.

This type of crap makes me hate MLB. Bad calls, a manager who doesn't understand sabermetrics for the life of him. What a great combination.

Cozart has been good offensively this year ... and shaky defensively. Just like everyone predicted. [sarcasm] How that last play wasn't an error is beyond me. He completely botched an easy out at second.

I would love to hear the dense official scorer's reasoning for that being ruled a hit. Did Zack try really hard? Is Cozart's mom REALLY the official scorer? Is it Stevie Wonder?

So much overreaction so early in the game thread. On a roll today

Maybe because it was a backhanded flip going against his momentum.

Bad timing in playing the Giants. They're white hot, and they got Pence back.

Plus, Bad Leake made his best/worst appearance of Leake's career yesterday. Just a lot of bad luck/timing for this series.

Thom/Chris grasping for banter during the delay isn't the smoothest thing in the world.

Wonder if they'll bring back their conversation about drought/rain/water usage from last night.

To be fair they got much better after this last commercial. They are trying to ride out the AL Central discussion.

That Hamilton bobblehead in the background is kinda creeping me out.

He had a good game and hit a homer when the game is long over and they are just throwing get ahead fastballs to him. I hope it gets him going and Boesch is no perm replacement, I agree. I just think he needs to play a little more than he has. This whole offense got screwed anyways when Devin went down and the stupid idea to bunt in the 1st is just infuriating to read about.... that it just does not matter.

Did Thom notice how stupid it was or was he talking about playtime with his kids again?

welp, this has the makings of another bloodbath.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
