    Bruuuuuuuuuuuuce hammers a leadoff double
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

No. That was HIS OPINION. Marty & Jeff were speechless at first.

He was not pleased to hear it, but didn't go all Marty. He simply said that tanking is a serious issue in MLB these days. He seemed shocked that Buchanan was so upfront about it, as was I.

Bases juiced with no outs after a HBP to Suarez and a single by Duvall.

Maybe we heard different things, but I specifically heard him say that this is what the front office was doing, and that he agreed with it.

I think Zach phrased it poorly. I think he was talking about not bringing up the top prospects (rushing them) to fill a bad club. He was referring to the "non-exciting" names of Smith and Delabar. But he certainly IMPLIED that it was fact...it was not.

Nobody in the front office is going to admit such a thing to him even if it were true. Never.

I like to watch the reds play the brewers

Finnegan has 5 hits this season, no other Reds pitcher has a hit this season.

Zach is new. He's still learning how to handle these 2nd inning interviews.

Yep. I've only heard him 2 or 3 times. Sometimes I think he's trying to impress Marty too much with his "exclusive" info. LOL.

Nice job by Finnegan not to walk Perez there after falling behind 3-0. 3 scoreless for him.
