I like tonight's lineup. Hope Price will stick with it for awhile.

I like it also. Put Votto and your best hitter together, something Dusty rarely did with Choo and Votto. Ironically, that year, he liked to put weak hitting Cozart batting 2nd.

Ugh. West coast start times. Gotta watch the first two innings due to Wright.

The Wright brothers, Orville (August 19, 1871 – January 30, 1948) and Wilbur (April 16, 1867 – May 30, 1912), were two American brothers, inventors, and aviation pioneers who are generally credited[1][2][3] with inventing, building, and flying the world's first successful airplane. They made the first controlled, sustained flight of a powered, heavier-than-air aircraft on December 17, 1903, four miles south of Kitty Hawk, North Carolina.

Straight from the horse's mouth: Wright doesn't have a radar gun busting fastball but has shown he knows how to pitch. The strikeout totals above indicate a power arm but Wright knows his limitations.

"I'm a control pitcher. I'm not going to blow people away with the fastball. I try to locate on both sides of the plate and throw off speeds when I need to and not for strikes when I need to. When you're in the zone early and get ahead of hitters the strikeouts tend to come. That's my style I try to get ahead so. I'm not pitching behind in count because I don't necessarily have the stuff to get away with it."

Seems like he's got a pretty good mind for pitching.

    Thanks.

Guess you can't have enough bad pitchers on a team.

I like it, but let's see how his stuff plays in the Bigs.

Is he a Mike Leake/Kyle Hendricks type (we can hope).

    Or a Jon Moscot type?

Was watching the pre-game show. Is it just me, or are Brandon Finnegan's interviews painfully awkward?

I don't really care about that kind stuff, I just want results. But it's something I've noticed. He almost makes Votto seem like Mr. Personality.
