I'm excited to grab Senzel. Need guys who have a plan up there.

I'd love it if they started him in Dayton but I know that's not their M.O. I guess one benefit to sending him to Billings would be lower competition to tinker with his swing for more power if that's the Reds gameplan.

I love it. Really got myself hyped up about him in the days leading up to the draft, and I think he'll be a bonafide all-star with MVP upside.

    Welcome to the Reds, Senzel!

I love this pick. He, Winker, and Votto should provide the Reds with plenty of OBP.

Excited about the pick, I think he was the best bat available.

I'm curious if the Reds plan on immediately planting him at 3rd or not. He played SS part of this year in Knoxville and the reviews were good. I don't think he'd play there in the system, but I could see testing him out at 2B.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

That kind of bat in the middle of the infield?

    Makes me drool a little.

Could his bat play in left field? I kinda wish they'd draft Kieboom and plant one of them out there.

While I've had my doubts about him leading up to the draft, I'm ready to embrace Senzel. I just hope he develops some power.

I actually think the upside case on his bat is very similar to Winker's profile.

Really liked JJ Cooper's mini breakdown on twitter. Seemed like a good pick who was a non reach. Kind of worried they just went with a college player/3b player, but the reviews seem excellent.

This is one night I kind of miss no MLB network when I dumped digital cable and went back to standard.

    AHHHHHH YISSSSSSSS!

Wanted Lewis myself, wanted nothing to do with Puk, Senzel was definitely my hope at 1b right behind Lewis, so I'm gonna pop open some bubbly to celebrate this one.

Great pick, seriously. Can't wait to see Senzel in Cincinnati, hopefully sooner than later.

I have no idea who this kid is, but everyone else seems happy so I'll pretend I know what I'm talking about and be happy as well.

My hope is that he can somewhat annually do what Sean Casey in 2004 did. Guy has a hell of a bat and hit tool. Expect a regular ~.300 avg from him with a good eye, if he can add 15-20 HRs in an average year and ~25 or so in his prime, he'll be a star, IMO.

Good polished hitter with contact skills, discipline, and good power potential. He's a pretty good line drive hitter from what I have researched.

Imagine Sean Casey at his peak but playing a good 3B and in the offense starved MLB of 2016. WEW!
