Tim McCarver: Baseball Quotes
I remember one time going out to the mound to talk with Bob Gibson. He told me to get back behind the batter, that the only thing I knew about pitching was that it was hard to hit.

Although Billings is great, for selfish reasons I sure wish we (or anybody tbh) had a team in Bozeman.
The Milwaukee Brewers purchased the Carolina Mudcat franchise from Steve Bryant about a month or so back. Needless to say, they are happy campers and will be here for a while. Don’t think I saw that posted. Apologies if I missed it. This gives them an Advanced A team in what most folks consider the most desirable High A league. They are solid in their High A and AA locations now. They have a very good GM that is committed to building the organization up top to bottom. The Carolina League should be fun to follow in the years to come.
Helena Handbaskets are moving to Colorado for the 2019 season. Colorado Springs to be exact.

Our planet is a lonely speck in the great enveloping cosmic dark. In our obscurity, in all this vastness, there is no hint that help will come from elsewhere to save us from ourselves. -- Carl Sagan (Pale Blue Dot)
Since it is a rookie league which features a lot of younger players, they should name the team the Colorado Springs Teens because they were born to run. That would rock.
They should put Colorado Springs in the south and move Idaho Falls to the north.

It would seem Nats are headed to Vegas unless they can convince Rochester (NY) to switch from the Twins.
If teams were thinking logically, the Nats going to Nashville, and the A's going to Vegas, seems so perfect it ought to be pursued.
