He doesn't have the best control, for sure, but his inability to strike guys out is just as alarming. I really hope the Reds give the other lefties in camp a shot at Peralta's 40 man spot. Yeah I just don't see it. I always had hope for him dating back to his days starting and he initially seemed to take to relieving, but he fell flat in Louisville and I don't think is a realistic contributor in 2017.
Lucas Luetge was victimized by a .362 BABIP in the PCL last year but still struck out 20 more batters than Peralta did in AAA (though he did walk 3 more).

Romano, Astin & Chacin all look sharp. Rookie Davis was OK but gave up a couple hard hit balls.
Peralta looked shaky.
I missed Romano, but Chacin looked good. Tough arm angle and movement on righties.
