I liked Hernandez a lot the last time we saw him. Kinda surprised he didn't hang around.

20 walks in 33 Double-A innings. That's why he didn't hang around and it's why he won't this time, either. He had an incredible outing, and he'll have those because when he's on, the stuff is unhittable. But, too often he's struggling to find the zone and walking 2 batters an inning.

(Perhaps a Wood or Storen deal could move that along.)
Could uproot Bonilla or Brice as well. I really like Ariel's future in the pen.

Feldman, Adelman, Garrett & Bonilla. A 4-man rotation until Homer's ready?

I'm not sure that those names add up to four in any real sense.

I thought the Reds and Cardinals would make up a rain out game on Monday.

In his last 10 appearances he's walked 9 batters, and that's a lot. He also gave up 5 hits, 4 in one game.

That was May 31 and it was an aberration for this season. 4 hits, 2 BB's 1/3 IP. I'm not saying it doesn't count, just that it isn't truly indicative of his skill. It was an awful outing, but out of the norm, at least for this year.

    So for the other 9 outings: 7 BB's 1 hit 13 K's 13 1/3 IP.

It's too many walks, but that was 1 hit across 13 1/3 IP. 1.

I mean I'm not putting him in the 9th with a 1 run lead just yet, but he could go all Wandy Peralta, and harness his stuff with a bit more control. He's at the right age to take a step forward.

Plus, I miss Chapman, and as I have stated for 2 months now, he's interesting.

Good, because there are a couple of names there I only want to pitch on off days.

Feldman, Garrett, Adleman against the Rays. Off day Thursday. Friday and Saturday?

Reds likely hope it's Bonilla and Bailey.

Bonilla being a place holder for Finnegan.

So the goal is Bailey, Finnegan, Feldman, Garrett, and Adleman as the rotation fairly soon.

Should be an improvement. Almost anything would be an improvement.

Yes it should considering those two are our top 2 pitchers and we will be getting rid of our bottom two.

Great. So, you're saying that my repeated offers to join the rotation have been denied yet again?
